Lisa Baker is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has served the Brevard county community specializing in primary care and psychiatry. She completed her ADN RN at KSU in 1992 and her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing at Keiser University in Ft Lauderdale in 2016 and 2018. In 2018 she completed a post graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She has served as 1st Lieutenant under the direction of the Coast Guard, managing a ship infirmary treating a variety of patients from 40 different countries. She has completed specialty programs in wound care, infectious disease, and legal consulting.
Since transitioning to primary care and family practice she has continued to support the medical community serving as a role model and preceptor for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students. She is an active mentor to a variety of healthcare students focusing on primary care and health care access. She has been a speaker locally and nationally on a variety of topics including Quality Assurance Programs, Infectious disease and Congestive heart failure.
Throughout her professional career she has served as Director of Nursing, Regional and Corporate Director of Clinical Services and Clinical Nurse Consultant. She has received awards that include Brevard County Entrepreneur of the year as well as recognition of her dedication and involvement in community support programs.
She currently practices as a primary care provider with special focus in Adult and Geriatric medicine.
